Fairy Potions

 

  On Sofia’s second day of Spring break she had a special mommy and me day. They called to share a part of it with me. Her mom had given her a “Fairy potion making kit” . It came with small bottles, fairy dust, unicorn hair, fairy wings and little labels and directions . When it came to the wish potion I was able to follow along. Last step write out your wish and place it under the wish potion bottle. Her wish was “to visit gramma on her birthday.” I hope this comes true.

 

 

Mr. Potato Head

 

So continuing my FaceTime with Sofia this morning she switched up the scenario with Mr. Potato head. Now we are both Drs. And he is our new patient ready for surgery. I ask Sofia what her name is and she says You can just call me “Other Doctor.” So I say “Other Doctor this patient was in an accident and might need a blood transfusion.” Sofia looked at me with a very serious look and whispered into the camera “Gramma there is no blood needed. He’s a Potato!!!”’

A continuation: I was up so early this morning. Sofia is on Spring break but her parents are working so I face-timed Sofia from their offices. While she was playing with Mr. Potato head and pretending we were in “Toy Story”. I think I was the character Cowgirl Jessie. I asked her what I sounded like in the movie. She said just say things like “Yee Haw!” I was multitasking while I was the cowgirl. I made Chile for tonight’s dinner and a spicy tomatillo/guacamole sauce. I’ll make cornbread muffins this afternoon. It’s raining today in Long Beach. Happy Monday y’all Yee Haw!

 
 

Chocolate Chip Cookies To The Rescue

 

"Yes, I do need help. Could you show me where the chocolate chips are and tell me everything's going to be O.K.?" 

Recipe for Guild Free Chocolate Chip Cookies:

2 sticks slightly softened butter

1.5 cup tightly packed coconut sugar

1/4 cup monk fruit

3/4 cup peanut butter

1 T. Vanilla

2 large eggs

2 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp. salt

2 c. almond flour

1/2 c. coconut flour

a bunch of keto chocolate chps!

Bake on 350 for 8-10 minutes.
