Hi Barb, this is a great quote, reminds me of Phil Keoghan who is the host on the Amazing Race and who also happens to be an adventurer himself, inspirational speaker and author of his book and life philosophy "No Opportunity Wasted" (NOW). I saw him give a specch once and he was really good. He advocates approaching life with an "every moment counts" positive attitude.
Your wonderful post reminds me so much of his speech.
Thanks so much for the reminder...have a great weekend.
Trekcapri, Thanks for this good tip. If I ever get a chance I'd love to hear him speak. BTW Amazing Race is my favorite reality show. Have a wonderful weekend.
Amazing Race is the ONLY reality show! LOL Definitely a great philosophy to live by. Think you'll like this quotation a friend of mine recently posted on Facebook:
“Child of God, live this day as if it were your first day, as if it were your last day, as if it were your only day.” Walter J Burghardt, “What We Don’t Have is Time,” in Best Sermons, vol. 3. (New York: Harper & Row, 1990), p. 57.
