My mother, Ruth, had favorite things she loved. Among those things were butterflies. Now that she is gone I feel comforted every time I see a butterfly. They remind me of her joyfulness, her humour and her independent spirit.
So on this day I post a photo of an orange butterfly for my mom, to say"
" I love you mom. Happy Mother's Day! I miss you!"
"Hundreds of dewdrops to greet the dawn,
Hundreds of bees in the purple clover,
Hundreds of butterflies on the lawn,
But only one mother the wide world over."~George Cooper
Happy Mother's Day Barb - I hope thta it was a good one.
