This morning at the beach we watched the sunrise while the moon was still in the sky. A huge group of high school surfers from a club at the local high school showed up
and big bull dozers and other vehicles were at work building berms for an expected storm.
The morning quiet at the beach was peaceful. The sand felt incredibly cold beneath my feet. Cup of hot tea, more donuts and a window seat with a sea view is wonderful.
We relaxed and worked on a cute 1950’s era jigsaw puzzle.
A late lunch before heading on pch for home. That was a fun getaway. PS the flourless chocolate cake and carrot cake cupcakes were a hit.
