Labor Day

We knew it was going to be a hot Labor day today so we headed for the bay at 8:30. We got a great parking spot very close to Boathouse on the Bay. We had a spot looking out to the water. We took our long walk as soon as we arrived to avoid rising temps later. We walked to the Seal Beach pier where there were plenty of people on the beach and families fishing. We walked on Main Street and shared the surfer special which consists of two burritos, two salsas, chips and a drink. It was $12.00. We remembered when this use to cost $3.00, then 5, 6,8, 10. Just as I said “the burritos are still a good size” Mike said “ these use to be bigger!” Lol I guess it’s all a matter of perspective. After lunch we returned to our chairs by the water. We stayed til 4:00 enjoying wonderful cool ocean breezes. The sunlight danced on the water like diamonds. You know I loved that!
