Mother's Day 2026 Celebrating with My BFF

 

We spent Mother's day together with my best friend Mary and her husband David. 

 

 

 We've been bff's since the 3rd grade.  We dined on take out from the famous mexican restaurant El Tepeyac in East Los Angeles.

 

 Mary lived on Evergreen Avenue very close to El Tepeyac. We knew the owner Manuel. They are famous for their "Manuel Special" burrito and the smaller version "The Hollenbeck".   

 

 

 David had bought 3 Hollenbecks and 1 machaca burrito. They made special salsa, sour cream, guacamole, chips and a salad. 

 

 

 

We feasted on the food which reminded us of the tastes of our childhood.  

 

Always so nice to be with dear old friends.
