Metro Blue Line Adventure to the L.A. Natural History Museum

Our blue line metro adventure took us to the L.A. Natural History museum today. Wonderful family fun awaits your visit. Metro Changes

The metro blue line has a great replacement express bus #860. We parked at the indoor metro stop parking lot at Willow and Long Beach blvd. As always it is free and spaces are plentiful. You can also catch the express bus at Wardlow and Long Beach blvd. It is outdoor parking and far fewer spots. So we parked at the Willow station and walked to Pacific and 27th a few short easy blocks from the parking lot. The buses run about every
20 minutes. Board and use your tap card once on the bus and it's a very efficient 30 minute ride direct to downtown L.A. Dropping you at 7Th street and Figueroa.


 

 


 

A Day In Little Tokyo with the Family

I had a great time in little Tokyo with my family on Sunday April 14, 2019 We tried a Japanese style fried chicken restaurant, popped into our favorite "Japangeles" hip clothing store, drooled over yummy desserts, browsed at the local bookstore and had fun in the bustling heart of J-town. Ended the day with a wonderful Japanese Opera production of Madame Butterfly at the Aratani Theater.
