Friday April 18: the day was beautiful here. Fall has arrived.
Grandpa Mike teaching Jude how to eat a grapefruit
We
played games, Mike and Mat worked in the garden, we drove to a nice
outdoor lawn bowling place across from the ocean for lunch. Athena says
they feature great live music in the evenings.
At 2:30 the neighbors Sue
and Renzo and their two adult children Natalie and Zachary invited us
over. Sue had chalk and bubbles for Jude and Julian and light afternoon
snacks for us. We had fun talking about Calabria the Italian
province where both Renzo and Mike’s family is from.
For dinner Mike
and Athena made homemade pizza.
A very nice “Good Friday!”
