Thursday April 17th

April 17th: We got up early to go to see an unspectacular sunrise. Still beautiful but we have been spoiled by the brilliant orange ones from earlier days. 

 

Hardly anyone was in the rough ocean pools. 

 

 Mike went in despite the cooler weather.

 We walked to Athena’s and I checked out the flowers on the fence. Someone asked what they are made of. It looks like plastic and maybe some metal cut from milk cartons or soda cans. Not sure.

 

 

At 10 a.m. we walked with the kids to town to the local charming book store.  There the children could pet a store bunny and hear several Easter books. 

 

  We stopped at a family owned Middle East food specialty store and bought homemade hummus, tabbouleh and baba ghanoush. Veges in stores are locally grown and beautiful. 

 

 

Mike and Jude gardened and they finished the Lego Mc Laren Car.
