Some Enchanted Evening with Jurgen and Gerry

On Saturday night we enjoyed a wonderful Christmas cocktail party hosted by our friends Gerry and Jurgen.  We feasted on all kinds of wonderful treats cooked entirely by Jurgen.  It was a lovely time filled with holiday cheer.  Many thanks to Gerry and Jurgen for such a elegant festive time. PS Since I was so busy eating I did not get photos of many of the dishes so here is a list of all the things Jurgen made. It was deliciously executed and each dish beautifully plated.  A feast for the eyes and the tummy.  Truly amazing. Here's the menu:

Pork Wellington with Mushroom sauce, A Selection of Fine French, Italian, English and American Cheeses, accompanied by Greek dried Figs, Japanese Pears, Raspberries, Black Berries, Forell Pears, California Red Grapes, Italian dried Apricots, Lavosh.
