"One day you will go to the sea shore, or a lake, or even a town
cafe, and you will sit and sip at a drink, watch the people having their
day, and you will be relieved because it looks normal. It isn’t normal,
it’s absolute favor and privilege. The last two years we have had the
chance to know this.
If you are reading this, you’re
safe. You have access to the internet. You can almost certainly see. You
can almost certainly read. Your now is pretty damned good. Your
pandemic wasn’t as bad as it could have been.
Go
outside and breathe the air, see whatever sky there is and be grateful.
It will get better, but it’s not really awful now. If I didn’t believe
what I said, I couldn’t go on. I do, though.
See you at the seashore, kids."-J. Greenwood
