One of my husband Mike's Christmas gifts from our daughter Aria was a wine making kit. Here's a little glimpse into the adventure he had with this wine making kit. Time will tell how good the wine will be but after he bottled the final bottle there was a little left at the bottom of the barrel. With that he made a delicous dinner of duck and a mushroom risotto. At the very least I know we will have 29 bottles of a great wine to cook with. He took this process very seriously and seemed to have had a lot of fun making the wine. His grandfather from Italy used to make wine in the basement of the family home. I told Mike his grandfather would be very proud of him with this endeavor. Take a look to see how he made wine:
