Realizations By the Light of the Moon

“I am not the same having seen the moon rise on the other side of the world.”

- Mary Ann Rademacher

"Here I came to the very edge where nothing at all needs saying,

everything is absorbed through weather and the sea,

and the moon swam back,

its rays all silvered,

and time and again the darkness would be broken by the crash of a wave,

and every day on the balcony of the sea,

wings open,

fire is born,

and everything is blue again like morning"-Pablo Neruda, It is Born

Hi Barb, I love Mary Anne's quote. It's so appropriate for travelers. And I've never heard of Pablo Neruda before. He's wonderful with words.

Thank you so much for sharing. Have a wonderful Sunday evening!

Hi Barb, I love this quote by Mary Anne. I have given several friends her card with that saying on it, after they have traveled. I also have had the privilege of taking several classes from her. She is delightful to meet in person.

Sandra that is so wonderful that you have been able to take those classes with Mary Anne. I'm sure they were meaningful and very special.
