There’s a very cute new English Tea Parlor in the Lakewood Village on Bellflower. The owners and proprietors are a mother daughter duo from England. Yesterday Tracy treated me to a lovely luncheon Tea for my birthday. The menu features several options for tea sandwiches with scones, lemon curd, jam and cream and variety of chocolates and desserts, the menu features a long list of teas as well. It’s a very cute place and the owner Sue is so sweet. They opened in October of last year. I recommend this great addition to our community and hope you will drop by and support this new family run business. They have a children’s menu as well. Reservations recommended .
Afterwards we walked to the nearby used book store which was filled with used books at a great price. Across from the book store the wonderful “Romance” boutique and flower shop. We are lucky to have such a charming little shopping village. Let’s frequent these small business owners so they can thrive in our community.
We ended the celebration with a little shopping at Nordstrom Rack and some bubbly at Tantelum. What a great day!
