"Carry the Earth" Project

Aria became interested in a participatory environmental art project Called "Carry the earth". Many unique globes of the earth created by artists will be linked to their own blog on the carry the earth website. Go there for more info. The globes will be passed from hand to hand around the planet inspiring the carriers of the earth to donate actions that help the environment and post their stories on the blog site. The carrier/Aria in this case will pass the globe on in Italy and so it goes. Hers is a beautiful glass globe. It's very heavy! She'll be happy to pass it on. Sofia is now becoming very aware and is always saying we need to take care of the earth. We don't want it to die!

Here Nora Kravis owner of Chianti Cashmere goat farm holds the globe. Nora is doing a great job in using her goats and products to sustain the earth. We all can do our part. Nora says this: "We have been working on SUSTAINABLE LANDUSE since 1995 when we started our Cashmere goat herd, and we are also the FIRST Wildlife Friendly certified farm in Europe, due to our work supporting co-existence with our local wolves
You can learn more about our work, our farm, our goats and our Sustainable Cashmere yarns and accessories on our website: www.chianticashmere.com And you can also come and STAY with us for your summer holiday! "
