Mike and I had a pretty quiet 4th of July but we celebrated with bbq pork, potato salad, hot dogs, corn on the cob, chips and dip and rhubarb pie. We do our part! Lol . At sunset we went up to Signal hill with its grand view of the whole city of Long Beach. We were not alone. Crowds sat on the grassy hillside. We avoided the masses and situated ourselves below . We watched day become night as the sun set. We call this the peoples fireworks as the view lights up far below with streets in neighborhoods lighting illegal fireworks. It was impressive on a mini scale. Fun to experience and a good way to celebrate with families.
