Making Chile Relleno tip

 Here’s a cooking tip when having to roast and skin chiles like poblano, anaheims and hatch. You can use the air fryer. Yesterday we had hatch chiles and tried this method. Air fry at 350 for 15 minutes, turn chiles to char on the other side for another 15 (don’t open the fryer. )Let them cool and then you can easily peel the skins off. This was so much easier than when we’ve grilled the peppers or roasted them to char. We have made chile rellenos with anaheims before but decided to try with the hatch knowing they’d be spicier. We loved the results but it is hotter. Ps cooking times will vary when using the larger sized peppers.
