The Same Same Sisters Visit the Bowers Museum

My sister Jocelyn and I had a fun day in late April visiting the Bowers Museum* in Santa Ana.

There was a wonderful exhibit featuring the personal family and friends photographs of artist Frieda Kahlo.

After viewing the exhibit we enjoyed walking through the temporary gift shop featuring Frieda Kahlo gift items.  I love the way she had such a distinctive way of dressing. So expressive and colorful and beautiful.  It made me want to wear red roses in my hair.

We ate lunch at the District Packing Company in Anaheim. This is an historic old packing warehouse newly transformed into a multi-level eatery.  You can wander and pick and choose from any number of restaurant and cafe settings which feature many kinds of food choices. Bakeries and bars and desserts abound as well.
