My best friend Mary, hosted a lovely Father's Day dinner celebration yesterday.

It was a very hot day in South Pasadena and Mary had prepared a platter of sushi and a lovely Japanese cold noodle dish called Somen. Wonderful and so delicious.
Mary served grilled veges and tri-tip, Jocelyn brought a lovely green salad and I made a cauliflower/fennel gratin. Everything was so good.
and then there was dessert...
A lovely, relaxing afternoon seranaded by "Alexa" who filled the room with our favorite musical requests.
