“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails.
Awesome! I LOVE the Mark Twain quote at the bottom, too. So true.. so true! I hope to get to Paris one day.... my parents must have thought it romantic, too, since they oft remind me that I was conceived there :) (that was when I complained as a kid that we never went anywhere "cool" since our family vacations were either to Ohio or camping). Lovely composition of images!
Kitty, your comment made me laugh, esp. the parent reminder. When my two daughters were young our vacations consisted of alot of trips to Ohio (like you) to visit their grandparents at least once a year or more and camping trips. When they hit the teen years I hoped and dreamed that they could see more. We did begin to branch out bit by bit. Now both girls are in their early 20's and travel easily abroad and back more frequently and probably with more ease than me. This makes me happy.
I believe in love and kindness, family first, deep meaningful friendships, counting one's blessings and giving to others what you yourself need. I strive to see life as a glass half full. I am very grateful for the life I have and all the wonderful people that make this grand adventure so worthwhile.

I think it is so cool that your girls travel abroad so much and are able to get another view on the world. Beautiful photos of your daughters.
Great photos, Barb -- Paris is wonderful. And I love the quote from Mark Twain.
