A Boat Ride on Lake Monona and A Broken Toe, June 14, 2013

After the wedding on the 13th of June  Aria and Daniele had arranged for a fun  sunset boat cruise on Lake Monona.  Friends and family were to meet at the boat dock by 4:00 P.M. The weather was perfect for a boat ride on the lake.

Shortly after this photo was taken we were returning to the dock and I fell on the staircase and "broke my toe".  Some may say it was one too many margaritas.  But of course I say that wasn't the case!  

Now I ask you "Who are you going to believe?"

Fortunately the wait was not long at the ER. Mat and Athena went with me.  Once I got my toe x-rayed and my new black shoe and crutches we joined the rest of the gang back on the patio of the University where the party continued with a

 very loud rock band, 

and more beer 

lots of laughs

and more wedding cake!

Despite my mishap,

 it was another memorable, fun day!
