June 12, 2013 The Wedding Rehersal and Dinner- A Very Rainy Night at an Irish Pub

We got up early and went to the big Farmer's Market by the Capitol Building to buy the flowers for the wedding. Athena and Aria arranged the bud vase arrangements for the outdoor patio area while Mary and I worked on the two bouquets for the bride and maid of honor.

At 4:00 we headed to the Museum of Contemporary Art rooftop where
the rehersal was sceduled to take place.

The happy Bride and Groom to be

Marino (Daniele's Brother and Best Man), Athena (Aria's sister and Maid of Honor)

4 year old Rex is the ring bearer

Mat and Athena have come from Sydney Australia for the wedding
A very quick and smooth rehersal is needed as the sky is threatening to storm any minute.  We make a great run through with the wedding program and then make a dash across the Capitol Square to our rehersal dinner destination, The Brocach Irish Pub

Rain began to fall as we walked to the Pub. We made it just in time as a full fledged storm broke out.
We scheduled the top floor of the pub for our rehersal dinner from 6-8:00 and from 8:00-10:00 our family and out of town guests joined us for some pre wedding fun at the pub.

Our nephew J.R., Mike and Rock (Mike's brother)
It's almost 8:00 and the guests are beginning to arrive while it is storming outside we are cozy in the pub
Daniele and Aria greet their guests

It's still raining at 10:00 when we walk back to the hotel.  Time to go to bed and get ready for the main event. The wedding takes place tomorrow!
