Alison's Baby Shower

Today was a wonderful baby shower for Alison Morales.  The shower was hosted by her Aunt Sue and friend Donna.  It was a wonderful day of food, drink, games and fun.  Oh and some painting of onesies as well.  Alison and Jeremy we can hardly wait to meet your little baby girl, Bethany.

Tea with Tracy

My friend Tracy took me to tea this week.

 I call her the "Queen of Tea." 
 She hosts the best tea parties in town.*


  On this occasion Tracy  treated me to tea at a place called "Vintage Tea" in Long Beach.**

 It is a charming  and cozy little place

 which also houses a cute little store

that sells a large selection of teas

and many gift items.

We had a leisure and very lovely afternoon

sipping tea

and dining on  scones with Devonshire cream and lemon curd

delicious finger sandwiches,

 fresh fruits and desserts.

We each had our own large pot of hot, steamy tea.

What a lovely and relaxing way to spend an afternoon.

to perfection and friends are close at hand."
