Slow Progress on New Puzzle

 This puzzle took me about a week to finish. I did the birds first and then was challenged by the background.

  Our co hosts Judy and  Jo  created a lovely sea themed luncheon.

Gazpacho

 I’ve been challenging myself with cooking easy meals during this hot spell and also using our garden tomatoes. This morning I thought of gazpacho. Using Ina Garten’s recipe it was a snap to make.  Now it just chills til dinner.

My gourmet cook friend Rob says a proper Gazpacho required sherry vinegar or sherry. So please add and be warned this recipe makes a lot. I would definitely cut in half the next time. 

Julian Elio is One Month Old

 Celebrating a one month birthday.

 

 

Easy Summer Pasta Dinner

 For dinner I sautéed garlic in olive oil and made pasta. Added peas, fresh basil and garden tomatoes. It was a simple meal but good for this hot weather.
