Christmas 2019

We had a wonderful day Christmas beginning with brunch at my brothers house, chicken and waffles, bagels and more. Ended with pizza at Mike's sisters house and more cousin fun for Sofia and her look alike cousin Rex.

 

 

 

Santa brought my sistah Jocelyn, Shawn Mendes socks and a Timothy Chalemet star pin! Just call her "Senorita".


 







 

 

 

 

 

 



 

 

Christmas Down Under

I have to give a big shout out "Merry Xmas" to my daughter Athena and her husband Mat. If you two were here it would make things perfect! We wish you both the Happiest of holidays. Athena wrote that they had a wonderful feast yesterday "That was Xmas in Australia." Miss you two!

 Mike has been busy for some time now preparing our seven fish traditional Italian dinner. The menu consists of shrimps fried and with cocktail sauce, oysters breaded and fried and oyster stew, squid sauce with pasta, scallops, clams, and King and blue crabs and a dish with bacala. He loves cooking this meal. Channeling his mom!

Universal Studios

Last night at the family Christmas party some of the younger cousins had planned an outing to Universal studios. They invited Sofia,Aria and me to join them. It was all very impromptu. We went on line last night and bought tickets and then it poured all night long. We woke up thinking we were in for a very wet day but stopped at Target en route to buy rainboots and a rain jacket for Sofia. Fortunately we arrived and it was dark and cloudy but very few rain drops though cold. Sofia looked like a telly tubby in her rain gear and wasn't such a happy camper so early in the morning but the day cleared up and she cheered up especially when she got to eat a big chocolate frog from Harry Potter. (a few bites anyway). 11 of the family spent a wonderful day into night at Universal studios. Some had never been and most of us haven't been in decades or since childhood for the cousins. It was really a fun and most wonderful day we will all long remember. With Jocelyn , Mariko, Miyoshi, Nancy, Aaron, Tim and Pauline and Stefanie and  Aria, Sofia and me.
