"We are all a little weird and life's a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love."—Dr. Seuss
I do so love this, and am quite proud to say that I too, am a little weird. I have two boys, and tell them often that it's ok to be a little weird, for the world has too much seriousness in it, and we all need those little weird-ities to blow off steam every now and then! x, Val
One of my favourite Dr Suess' quotes. I used to use it whenever a child made fun of another child for being 'weird' - generally that was the end of THAT! Funny, I had forgotten about it. Thanks for reminding me that we are all unique and wonderful!
Jerry it's so nice you used this as a teaching tool for children. It's so important to for all of us to realize that everyone is unique and special..what some may term Weird others will call Wonderful..it truly is in the eye of the beholder.
I believe in love and kindness, family first, deep meaningful friendships, counting one's blessings and giving to others what you yourself need. I strive to see life as a glass half full. I am very grateful for the life I have and all the wonderful people that make this grand adventure so worthwhile.

Ahahaha, so true - Dave and I tease each other all the time about being weird!
