Three Hour Quick Tour of Long Beach

Our son-in-laws brother Marino was here for his first visit to California. He arrived late Wednesday night December 17th. We picked him up at the Long Beach Airport at 9:00 PM and had a quick bite to eat before driving him to his hotel in Fullerton.

There he had an appointment interview on Thursday. His flight back home to New Jersey was Friday December 19th.  I had a small window of three hours on Friday to show  him some sights in Long Beach.  First we made a quick stop at my daughter's elementary school so he could see where they attended school and where I once taught full time.

Then I drove him to Belmont Shore where we did a short walk in the beach side neighborhood

and then had coffee at "Aroma di Roma" on 2nd street.

We drove around the campus of Cal State University Long Beach

I pointed out the big blue Pyramid on campus where many of the sports programs are held.

We drove to Seal Beach and walked on the pier.

Marino was able to see the blue Pacific Ocean.

We then walked down Main street to the Crema Cafe to have breakfast

After breakfast we passed by the boats in the Marina and headed to the Long Beach Airport

Looking forward to the next time Marino comes to visit. Hopefully for a longer stay so we can give him the Grand tour of Los Angeles.
