Yesterday was Sofia's first field trip. Her class was going to the arboretum. She
was so excited that her mom said she slept in what she was supposed to
wear today! The shirt says "Marquez" on the back. That's the name of
her teacher. Sofia loves to play school with me. We often pretend we
are going on a field trip. This is going to give her a whole lot of new
material for our pretend bus trips. When I heard about her trip it made
me think how wonderful childhood is because there are so many "firsts"
in life experiences. No matter one's age may we strive to find new
"first" adventures to experience.
