The Secret

"The secret to a well
balanced life is a cup
of tea in one hand
and a good book
in the other."

Happy Hour with Tracy

The Jasmine and Wisteria

" A summer rain had left the night clean and sparkling with drops of water. I leaned against the end
pillar of the gallery, my head touching the soft tendrils of a jasmine which grew there in a constant battle with a wisteria, and I thought of what lay before me throughout the world and throughout time,
and resolved to go about it delicately and reverently, learning that from each thing which would take
me best to another."- Anne Rice

Spring

"Spring, Spring
everything
you do is new and shiny

Who, Who
teaches you
to think of things as tiny
as all those velvet willow cats
in furry coats and furry hats
astride a twig like acrobats
soft, and sleek, and shiny."

New Beginnings

"Who gets to determine when the old
ends and the new begins? Its' not
on the calendar, it's not a birthday,
it's not a new year. It's an event, big
or small, something that changes
us. Ideally, that gives us hope,
a new way of living and looking
at the world, a way of letting go
of old habits, old memories. What's
important is that we never stop
believing we can have a new
beginning, but it's also important to
remember that, amid all the bad,
there are a few things worth
holding onto." -Meredith Grey
