Holiday Breakfast With Friends

On Thursday December 15th

My friend Kathy hosted a lovely holiday breakfast for some of our friends.  Her home was festively decorated with a beautiful table set.

Kathy made a delicious assortment of treats.

 We ate lots of yummy food and drank mimosas

We played games too!

 We had to draw a detailed picture of a Christmas tree with a star on top, ornaments, gifts underneath, by a fireplace with a mantel.  These are the results.  

 Then we had to grade each other's work.  The results follow:

 A wonderful way to begin the holiday season.  Thanks to Kathy for such a wonderful time with all the friends together.

A Holiday Boat Parade at Huntington Harbor

 Sunday December 11th

We were invited by our friends Donna and Mike who live in the Huntington Harbor area to watch the annual Christmas boat parade.
 We gathered at their home with more friends.

 There was lots of yummy food.  We watched our host make meatballs

 Put them in the sauce for meatball sliders. Mmmmm were they great!

We had to wait til dark for the parade to start.

 We walked to the bridge by Donna and Mike's house to find a good viewing spot

 After the parade home to desserts from Portos thanks to Gary and Marisel for these goodies.
