The Church Wedding Ceremony In Italy

The church marriage ceremony for Daniele and Aria was held at 11:00 a.m. on June 27, 2013.

A little toast to the Newlyweds

Time to go to the reception

We all follow in a caravan style throughout the town honking our car horns as people come out to wave at the Bride and Groom.

All the traffic stops as a local bar has set up a table and chairs for the Bride and Groom to have a toast in the middle of the street before we proceed to the reception venue.  It was quite special.

Now the party begins at Villa Ester.  A reception that will last more than 8 hours.  See tomorrows post for food, dancing and wedding merriment Italian style.
