Happy Birthday Marion Part 1

On Tuesday November 9 my Italian classmates Isa, Judy, Mitra and I  celebrated our friend Marion's upcoming birthday with a special outing.    This birthday adventure began with lunch in Redondo Beach at an Italian restaurant called. Bottega Romana*. 

 

 The sun was shining brightly and our table faced the sunny patio. 

 We had a great meal, wonderful wine and lots of laughs.

Marion took out her fan and gave us all a much needed breeze. It was a summer like hot November afternoon. 

 Marion chose a special Limoncello parfait for dessert

 She made a wish and blew out the candle

This is how much she loved her dessert! Good to the last drop!

                    "Happy Birthday Marion!"

 After lunch we headed to Roman Aroma for some more treats!  More on that in Part 2 tomorrow.
