On the morning of Feb. 9th at 4:15 a.m. our daughter Aria Zan was born and life for us has never been the same. We could never have imagined the wonderful journey we were about to begin as parents nor could we have imagined how much the human heart expands and loves with the welcoming of a child into our lives.
I wrote this:
"That you grow up to be a warm and kind person. That you always remember to treat others as you would like to be treated. I dream that you will be secure and confident and have a good sense of yourself knowing always that your parents love you with all their hearts. We hope you will like yourself. I dream that you will always strive for the brightest and the best in life, believing that you are just as deserving as the next person. I dream that your life will be filled with laughter and positive outlooks---it is so nice to see the silver lining on even a dark cloud. A good sense of humor will help--I hope you can laugh at yourself as well. I dream that you will find contentment in your life."
The other page was "Dad dreams for me..." and Mike wrote
"Be wise."
We have been given the gift of watching you grow up. You are a good, strong, intelligent young woman. A wonderful daughter, wife and mother of your own child. We wish you continued joy and fulfillment in everything you do in life. May you continue to find contentment in your life.
May all your dreams come true!
"You are full of unshaped dreams...
You are laden with beginnings...
There is hope in you." -Lola Ridge
Happy, Happy Birthday Aria!
