Homeward Bound

Daniele and Aria arrived home safe and sound last night. Jocelyn And I leave tomorrow to go back home. We have traveled together at least twice a year since Sofia was born to baby sit and to tour whatever city the kids called home. This trip for the last 10 days we purposely opted to stay indoors with the current health crisis. We did not tour museums, go shopping, go to movies or go to crowded areas. We’ve shared a quiet peaceful time reading books, binge watched the new Netflix series “Love is blind” which was more like watching a train wreck but it did take our minds away from daily news reports. We talked and laughed and worried together. We also occupied a shared space quietly doing our own thing, cooked together and played with Sofia. I’m so lucky to call Joce my sister and I am forever grateful for her company and her help. Tonight the kids took us out for a pizza dinner. Homeward bound tomorrow. Stay well everyone.
