Recipe Whole Wheat Bread

Turtle Creek Lane's Whole Wheat Bread

In a Bosch Mixer combine:

5 cups hot water with 7 cups fresh ground whole wheat (I use a combination of hard red wheat, hard white wheat and Einkorn)

In a separate glass activate:

2 T. Saf yeast in a 1/2 cup warm water

Add to mixer:

2 T. sea salt

2/3 cut oil (I use olive oil or avocado)

2/3 cup. raw honey

When yeast is soft add to mixture in Bosch

Next add approximately 6 more cups of whole wheat flour (you may need more or less). You will

know you have added enough when the dough just begins to pull off the sides. Mold into 3  loaves and placein pre-greased pans. Allow to risde until double in size. Bake at 325 degrees for 27 minutes or until just golden brown (I use the Tru Convection setting on my oven). Remove bread from pans immediately after removing from the oven. Eat warm with a big dose of honey butter!!
