Celebrating our 40th Anniversary part 2

The thing we are reminded of as we celebrate our 40th anniversary is that Mike and I did not come this far in marriage by ourselves. The story of our lives together encompass all the friendships that have supported our adventures through life. Each and every friendship continue to touch our lives and make everything meaningful. I share my heart here. Probably annoyingly too much but it's just a way I feel I can be in contact with people that mean so much to me. So thank you all for the impact you have had on our life. The kids arranged for a small family run (brother and sister) company out of Orange county to cater our dinner. (champagne, charcuterie assortment, sushi and a chocolate fondue fountain with mixed fruit.) They set up a table for two in our backyard. Prior to going outside for the big reveal we zoomed with our daughters Aria and Athena their husbands Daniele and  Mat and the grand kids Sofia, Rocco and Jude. The kids said the second present was sent via email so we should take the ipad with us to dinner. That gift overwhelmed us to tears. As we ate we watched a video with a compilation of messages from friends and family. It even included messages from the staff at the Huntington Sheraton Hotel in Pasadena (now the Langham) where we were married! Needless to say it's hard to eat sushi and drink champagne when tears were flooding our eyes. Messages from family and friends as far as Canada, England, Switzerland, Italy, Denmark and Australia. Friends from my childhood and college. I attach the youtube link to this video if anyone would like to view. Thank you again to all of you for your friendships and loving wishes. It is all of you that make our lives so full and joyful. Ps I also attach the card Mike made me. His home made card has a photo of Corona del Mar on the front. Through the years Mike has always made me cards for every special occasion. He continues to make cards that touch my heart, make me laugh and cry at the same time.
Here is the link to the video:
