Sofia's 1st Gymnastics Meet

So proud of my granddaughter Sofia. Today was her first gymnastics meet. She told me yesterday that she was really nervous. She got 6th place for floor routine and 10th overall for her category - she was so happy!

Her brothers were her best cheerleaders!

Mr. Fix It Rides Again

I married a man that loves challenges when things break. Yesterday he took the day off. We had two drs appointments in the morning and then he worked all the rest of the day on fixing this “imprint toy” that was broken.

It doesn’t matter that the toy can be replaced. He truly wants to fix things. He had been searching for plexiglass and ordered it. That arrived. Now he had to remove a zillion nails. (Exaggeration) Anyway after replacing all the nails he tried to do one small thing and in turning all the nails fell out and he had to start all over! At this point I would have gone straight to Amazon and ordered the $20.00 toy. Not Mike! He said next time I’ll use tape before I do it. Ugh. Anyway he placed the unfinished project outside with the warning to me to beware. I said dont worry I’m not stepping a foot near that thing!

You Are Stronger than You Seem

                                                  *About this painting

"You are

Braver

than you believe

Stronger

than you seem

Smarter

than you think

and

Loved

more than you know."

*the kids elementary school had a carnival and they asked me to do several cut out paintings on big boards so the kids could pose behind the painting at booths.  I did several. This was one. I think there was a pirate and a mermaid too.  I'm not sure where those photos are but this one popped up.

A New Month It's March!

March is a month of transition. It's still cold in many parts of the country, the branches of trees are still barren, and flowers have yet to burst from the ground. But signs of spring are everywhere, from tiny buds forming on trees to the clock springing forward, signifying the longer days to come.
