Welcome to a New Month

                                September

                                  Indian summer breezes blow

                                  the geese are taking flight.

                                 A softly glowing harvest Moon

                                 lights up the starry night.

                                 The special warmth and happiness

                                 we feel throughout September

Will fill our hearts all winter long

                                With beauty to remember.

Disrespect Changes Everything

" I'm usually easy going.  I can laugh, forgive, and give people more chances than they probably deserve. But the moment I feel genuinely disrespected, something changes in me.  I stop explaining.  I stop trying so hard.  And the soft, patient version of me quietly steps away.  It's not because I'm cruel.  It's because I know my worth.  I know how much kindness, understanding, and grace I've given before reaching my limit.  so when I finally walk away, it's not because I suddenly stopped caring. It's because I cared for too long without receiving the same respect in return."
