A Summer Dinner With Ana and Luis

During that hot spell  in early September we planned to have dinner with our friends Ana and Luis at their home before Ana left for her year long stay in Spain. It was a lovely time with them.

 Our friends Mary and David were also there

Mary brought some delicious appetizers to share

 Ana was busy in the kitchen cooking amazing cuban and middle eastern dishes.

 I made a peach pie for dessert. It seemed like a fitting dish for a hot summer night with some vanilla ice cream.

 It was a gentle, wonderful evening.

 We had some great conversations and lots of laughs.

We wish Ana well as she continues her journey for the next year in Spain!
