During our two week stay you could say my sister and I made the rounds downtown in Kirksville. You see this area is teeny tiny. The main downtown area is four square blocks around the City Courthouse building.

When my sister first saw this area she said, "We better pace ourselves, we could see this whole place in an hour!"
We decided to take it slow and do one block a day. It was a lot of fun and we got to know quite a few people in our days of discovering downtown Kirksville.
I will break down our discoveries and some of the people we met in the next few posts.
