A Great Gallery Exhibition Down Under

My daughter Athena keeps me informed of the latest art exhibits she has enjoyed both at the Museum of Contemporary art where she works as an art educator and at local museums and galleries that she likes. She recently said there was a great exhibition from artist Rosie Deacon at the Wollongon Art Gallery titled "Fashion Forest Seduction". It was described in this way:
"An interactive explosion of technicolour Australiana, drenched in nostalgia from childhood in the 1990s and summer sentimentality.
The installation is an interactive sensory experience, including costumes, wearables, sculpture, sound and video made by the artist and workshop participants. Visitors are encouraged to wear the costumes and glide down the all access catwalk, celebrating their transformation and delighting in the colours and textures of the fashion forest installation. "
I immediately wished I could be there along with Sofia and my sister Jocelyn.  A number of friends came to mind as well. What a great fun exhibition.
