We ushered in the new year with a nice dinner made by Mike (linguini and
mussels, roasted brussel sprouts and a green salad). We did our best to
stay up. Sofia made it til 8:00 and the rest of us opened the Champagne
at 11:00, toasted to each other a Happy New Year, ate chocolates and
then we were off to bed. Now the kids are on their way home to Dallas
and we are feeling hopeful for a new year filled with many, happy
memories to be made. “We joyfully pray with grateful heart’s to welcome
blessings in the New Year." Happy 2020 to all and a chance to live our
best lives yet. ― Lailah Gifty Akita
I believe in love and kindness, family first, deep meaningful friendships, counting one's blessings and giving to others what you yourself need. I strive to see life as a glass half full. I am very grateful for the life I have and all the wonderful people that make this grand adventure so worthwhile.
