Today's tour of downtown Los Angeles started with a trip on the metro
blue line and a visit to the 27th floor of the City Hall for a 360 view
of Los Angeles. Then I took Sherri, Lynda and Maria
on a trip back in time to my childhood days in Little Tokyo with visits
to Fugetsu-do the oldest confectionary established in 1903, the
original bldg. where I attended church (LA. Union Presbysterian which
now houses the East West Players theater, Far East Cafe where my family
had many meals and family gatherings and the Japanese National History
museum. We ate maple bacon donut holes at Dulce Cafe and toured the
local Japanese markets in Weller Plaza and Village Plaza.
