Today is Mike's birthday. It's one of those landmark occasions. He turns "70". When he was just 21 he came west to California from Ohio to begin graduate school at UCLA. That was the year we met and our story began. The English poet Robert Browning wrote: “Grow old along with me! The best is yet to be, the last of life, for which the first was made.” Browning was right. The years between ages 21 to 70 have been filled with great gifts none of which a young 21 year old could have foreseen.
Happy 70th Birthday Mike! Here's to a wonderful new year filled with good health and great happiness. May every cloud that floats by have a silver lining just for you!
