This past weekend Sofia had a date with her dad Daniele for a “Sweetheart Father Daughter dance” sponsored by her Girl Scout troop. I’m also posting a photo of Sofias parents on their date night when I had an opportunity to babysit the kids on my last night in Dallas. I still have face time play dates often with Sofia. That she still wants to pretend play act school scenarios where her stuffed animals are the students and we are the teachers warms my heart. I know my days are numbered at being her choice for a playdate. When she calls me to ask if I can play my heart skips a beat. I always answer “Yes! Of course! “
