I try my best to celebrate life at every opportunity. On superbowl sunday we had a party of two: we ate chili hot dogs with all the trimmings. Mike made guacamole and he made french fries in the air fryer. He had a beer and I had a gin and tonic. It wasn't fancy but we had a great time. While he watched football I was on the sidelines for half time entertainment and the commercials and I read my book. It was such a simple easy day but it was fun. I thought of this quote today and have to agree with its' sentiments.
"Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things."
