I love this picture of my mother in law with her son Mike. The love between them was palpable. Lucy Costanzo Cabot was the quintessential mom and grandma. She really, really loved children and children loved her. With them she made paper dolls, made pizza, pasta and cookies and crafts galore. She had a basement full of baskets of barbies and cars, trucks and trains. She raised three boys and two girls and supported each of their dreams. She was an excellent homemaker/ cook and her sunday spagetti dinners were what dreams are made of. Fortunately her sons followed in her foot steps and carried on her love of cooking. Lucy asked for nothing in return for all the generous love she bestowed on family and friends. Happy Heavenly Birthday to my other mother Lucy. She would have loved playing with all her great grandchildren and they would have dearly loved her.
