A Community Rallies for the New Zealand Tragedy

Yesterday afternoon I had the opportunity to participate in a community lei making project to represent love and light for the recent tragedy in New Zealand. The lei will be more than 3 miles long. Anyone in the community is invited to weave part of the lei, to add their spirit and blessings for the victims and their families. The owner. Of the restaurant Ron that had this idea long ago for the Paris killings was so kind and he said just grab a chair and we will teach you how to weave the ti leaf. He said this was done for the Paris, Florida, Las Vegas tragedies. It is for healing and meant to represent our hope for Peace in the world. So touching for me to have been a part of this effort. Mahalo to my friend Tony who suggested this be something I might like to do.
