Maui Swap Meet Kahului

Maui Swap meet only on Saturdays from around 7-1:00. Well organized large swap meet selling a full range of items from tourist trinkets, fresh fruits, flowers and   nice well made traditional Hawaiian items. You will find the prices are very fair if not less expensive than you would find in shops in town.  I had a wonderful conversation with   vendors Sandy and Terry Gusman in space 106. They specialize in  authentic woven Hawaiian items.  It was  interesting to learn from them  how  sails for the canoes in Olden days were woven by stripping a certain plant leaf. Do stop by and spend some time browsing their hand made items.  Well worth a visit.
