A 3 year Anniversary

This was on my memory wall today. It has slipped my mind that my 3 year anniversary for hip surgery is coming up at the beginning of October. I have never regretted having this done. Thank you again to my dear friend Mitra who so thoughtfully took me out for a day of fun pre surgery. I'm also reminded about the kindness of so many friends who came to my aide post surgery with companionship, food, and help on jigsaw puzzles, flowers, cards and gifts through the mail, delivered in person or left quietly on my doorstep. The time passes, my hip is fine and in my heart the lingering sweet feeling of gratitude for the thoughtfulness of friends and family.
